Grape seed oil is great for cooking. I do a lot of chicken breast and fresh seafood flash frying or sauteeing. Grape seed oil has a high smoke point so it can handle the high flash frying better than any other oil or butter. It does not modify the taste of what you are cooking. I also use it quite a bit in baking as it is a great substitute for butter.

To get a good healthy dose of this beneficial oil, I would suggest eating a salad daily, made of hearts of romain or dark green lettuce. Make a salad dressing with the Grape seed oil, vinegar and a touch of honey for flavor. You can put any other seasonings you’d like in the dressing and what ever veggies you’d like in the salad. I’ve read that 2 tablespoons of the oil daily, will reduce cholesterol, help with digestive issues, dry skin, may benefit achy joints by assisting with lubricating and help with getting a good dose of antioxidants. It HAS to be cold pressed oil only.

I say this all after just getting my physical results. My cholesterol was total of 180. Good cholesterol was at 40. Doctor sugested I take fish oil to get the good cholesterol slightly higher. I mentioned grape seed oil and he concurred.
